Ukrainian forces again struck an oil refinery in Russia's Black Sea port of Tuapse early on May 1, a day after launching drones at a Russian oil facility some 1,500 kilometers from the Ukrainian border, the latest in a series of long-range strikes by Kyiv targeting Russian energy facilities.
"In Tuapse, as a result of a drone attack by the Kyiv regime, a fire broke out on the territory of the seaport terminal," authorities in the Krasnodar region said on Telegram early on May 1.
The headquarters said emergency crews were operating the site, including nearly 130 firefighters and 41 emergency vehicles.
On April 30, Russian and Ukrainian Telegram channels, citing local residents, reportedexplosions overnight near an oil pipeline facility in Perm, with videos showing columns of flames and plumes of smoke billowing over the city.
